I am a male Kenyan adult with experience in the teaching profession. I have the drive and enthusiasm to further my teaching career in different environments and this has prompted my application.
I have taught in a number of Private Schools in Kenya, serving in different professional capacities. Currently I am teaching at Light Academy Mombasa – Kenya. I believe I have what it takes for this post if given an opportunity.
I believe in developing an all – round child who is morally, academically, physically and emotionally rich in the wider society. I am a confident teacher who believes in being a role model to his students.
My philosophy of education is guided by Jean Jaques Rosseou’s assertions that all children are born good and that it is the society’s responsibility to enhance that original goodness; or give room to its lose and degeneration into the reverse.
My belief that the environment in which a child grows plays a significant role in determining what a child grows into has made me take up my role as a teacher more seriously than ordinary. As a teacher, I occupy a unique position in society in nurturing children. Group work is preferred as children learn, work and interact well while in groups.
Kindly refer to my CV for my referees.
I remain, hoping that my application will be considered.
